I have a minn kota turbo 565 with 36lbs of thrust and the steering cables in the foot pedel broke how do i fix?

the cables or rewire them to the pullys?|||i have an old minn kota of the 565 series too.


still works just fine, and i occassionally use it. but i keep thinking about ripping it off and throwing it away already.





i have a buddy who has a endura series transom mount trolling motor for his now dead raft, when we plan on trolling, we bring it.


if its shaft was thick enough to fit my 565's bow mount, i would put it in there and use it. keep thinking about trying to figure out a way to pad it and bring it up to thickness.....





when i finally have a few dollars i'm willing to spend on it, i'm just gonna replace it with something newer and far superior. with a longer shaft that doesnt pop the prop out of water everytime balance shifts to the rear from somebody moving on the boat.
