Can electric motor go on this boat?

I just purchased a 55 lbs thrust minn kota motor and i was concerned that i wouldn't work on this boat....and OVERALL I NEED HELP INSTALLING IT, and if i need to buy a charger..which one?Can electric motor go on this boat?
your bic 245 is a good dingy it is rated for up to a 4hp motor so your electric motor will work but the total weight of the motor and battery will need to be considered in the total weight cap of your boat. (3 people/551 lbs)

the boat comes with a motor mount on the stern of the boat, it should be easy to clamp the motor onto the stern motor mount. for boat balance you may want to carry the battery near the bow of the boat.



as far as which charger to buy, it depends on what type of deep cycle battery you have. but i would suggest that you purchace a good quality charger that will automatically charge your battery. this type of charger is capable of charging all types of batteries including gel, adm and wet cell.
