I wanna know if a RipTide Minn Kota 55 thrust with a short shaft will work decent on it.

Let me know thanks.........What size trolling motor should I put on my boat.?
MinnKota says one pound of thrust per each 65 ls. of weight. this is for calm weather and slack current. What size trolling motor should I put on my boat.?
You really have a ton of options here. I would suggest going to http://www.minnkotamotors.com/selectamotor/ where you can put in your boats information and it will give you all of the motors that will work for you. What size trolling motor should I put on my boat.?
Is it 19' or 20? 55 lbs of thrust is not going to be enough -- you won't make much headway in any kind of wind at all. Pretty sure you're looking at a 24V motor at least, 70 lbs sounds about right. Shaft length, you need enough to submerge the lower unit by a good 10" at least.

good lookin boat.
