I have a 30 lb. thrust minn kota trolling motor and i wanna know about how many rpm's it already produces.About how many rpm's does a trolling motor have?
I went to Minn Kota's frequently asked questions on line and there is nothing about R P M's but if you call their service department tomorrow I am sure some one in their employ should know.

I would think if you're running it at full speed, about three thousand or so maybe?
It's just a guess. But keep in mind that the pitch and diameter of the blades could also have something to do with it.

idk rpms are varying depending on how you are running the engine at the time...unless your asking for what its max rpms are..which im guessing are a couple thousand

ReplyDeletewrong...Trolling motors have low rpms. For example Newport vessel 55 lb trust motor has oly 200 rpm (two hundred)I think 30lb thrust should be no more than 500 rpm.

ReplyDeleteI called Minn Kota and they indicated their top RPM was 1540. They said it varies depending upon the model. It does seem high but I have no reason to dispute this technical representative with the company.
