Trolling motot question?

I have a Minn Kota Endura 30 lb trolling motor and i use it on the front of a little jon boat. You haft to put it in reverse to get it to go forwards because its meant to go on the back of the boat i was wondering if there was any way to make the boat go forwards with the trolling motor on the front of the boat in foward mode instead of reverse?Trolling motot question?
I have the same trolling motor. Just mount it to the front (like you said you were) and just grab the handle and turn i back towards you, theres nothing attached to it to stop you from turning it 360 degrees......Sh!t nevermind, i just looked at the motor and realized you cant do what i said in my answer, it wont work. (for some reason i read and understood your question, but pictured it differently, sorry lol) After looking at the motor i dont think there is any way to make it go forward from the front. Can you mount it to the back of your boat like it should be?? If not, maybe try mounting it up front on the side of the boat, and just turn the handle side ways to make it go forward? I just dont see any other way. I even looked on Minn Kotas web site to see what the options were...but there were none.
