Minn kota 50lb thrust won't turn on anymore?

Electric motors are a logical problem.

1. Battery full charge.

2. Clean and tight battery connections.

3. Wires in good condition to the motor.

4. Switch operating properly.

5. Does the motor turn freely by hand with the power off.

6. With all of this it should run. If not buy a new one. Rebuild is more than a new one unless it's just a broken wire. Minn kota 50lb thrust won't turn on anymore?
Don't know everything about your situation, but I'll try to cover a few solutions.



You may have fishing line in the hub. Unscrew the prop and clean it and the iinside of the hub. . . oil sparingly in the shaft crevises.
